How Yoke Works
Step 1
Securely ’hook-on’ a number of plastic shopping bags – the Yoke Shopper will lock them together so your shopping stays put.
Step 2
With your shopping bags securely locked together the Yoke Shopper is designed to sit comfortably in your hand – spreading the weight and preventing bag handles from cutting into your fingers.
Step 3
To keep your hand free press the button and pull out the required length of shoulder strap. Release the button (audible ’click’) to lock the strap in place.
Step 4

The ’Yoke Shopper’ was conceived one day in 2005 when it struck me that there had to be a better way. I wanted to create a sophisticated yet inexpensive design that would appeal to a broad range of shoppers – looking as good on the shoulder of a mother shopping on the High Street or city commuter carrying groceries home.
After 4 years of painstaking research and development the Yoke Shopper was born. The Yoke Shopper is manufactured in the UK using recycled and recyclable materials.
The Yoke Shopper is small and compact and so easily fits into a pocket or handbag. The Yoke Shopper’s strong and ergonomic design locks all your bag handles together allowing you to carry a number of heavy shopping bags either in the hand, on your shoulder or across the body.

In line with UK Government health and safety guidelines Yoke Shopper recommends a maximum load of 7kg for Woman and 10kg for men when lifting a load from floor level.
How many bags can the Yoke Shopper carry?
The Yoke Shopper can carry up to 6 plastic shopping bags or 2 standard ’bags for life’ (strap or ribbon handles) but not the padded or rope handles.
How long is the strap?
The strap length is 1.2 metres, enough to go on anyone’s shoulder and across most people’s body.
